Joseph Callan Stern, 31, passed away unexpectedly in Nashville, TN. Born February 8, 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA, he is the son of Steven and Susan (Kinnee) Stern. Callan also leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kacy (Gieg) Stern; his brother, Ethan Stern; his sister, Rachel Stern; grandmother, Selma Stern; mother-in-law, Karen Gieg; and father-in-law, Michael Sturm. Callan worked as a sales lead for over 10 years at P & E Distributors in Goodlettsville, TN. An avid sports fan who particularly enjoyed cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers, Callan never met a show on ESPN he didn't like. He loved trying new restaurants with his wife, working out with his brother, eating ice cream with his sister, and spending time with his two dogs. Ever a hard worker, Callan had a silly side with a great sense of (often twisted) humor. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday at 12 noon at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. An hour of visitation will precede the service from 11 AM until 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to shatterproof.org
