This kindness and compassion stayed with John his entire life. He was constantly finding people that needed a hand. Whether it was a warm place to stay, a simple meal, or even Christmas, John stepped in and made sure they had everything they needed. It was this that made John a truly special person to know.

Even though John was industrious, he still knew how to have a good time. John was described as being the life of the party making sure everyone had a good time. From the time John and his sister, Lisa were little they were close. One of her favorite memories as a child was the time they dressing up in all camo sneaking around the house spying on their dad and in later years the different cook offs between siblings. AJ recounted the many night he and John hung out with friends listening to good music and watching the different shows. Memories like this is what will keep Johns memory alive in everyone who knew him and will forever be just a memory away.
