John Williams

WILLIAMS, John Allan, Sr. August 19, 2009, age 72 of Goodlettsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Evie Williams; wife, Sue Hunter Williams; and sister, Margaret Oaks. Survived by his wife, Marie Langford Williams; children, John �'Chopper�' Williams (Tamara), Wendy Williams Luker (Darrell), Randy Williams, and Shelley Williams; brother, George Williams; sister, Maye Lankford; special nephews, Ray and Kevin Hunter; and special friends, Brent , Marrila, and Andi Smith. Mr. Williams worked for Dupont for over 30 years, and was a member of the Shackle Island Church of Christ for over 40 years. He was currently a member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ. Mr. Williams was a avid bowler, and a loving husband and father. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Friday from 12-8 pm. Chapel service will be held Saturday August 22 at 1 pm with John Langford, Garvin Claiborne, and John Brackin, officiating. Interment Bush�'s Chapel Cemetery.
