Age 71 of Hendersonville. Sunday, February 11, 2007. Preceded in death by wife, Ernestine; brother, Phillip Smithson. Survived by son, Wayne Smithson (Tammy); daughters, Diana Edwards (Dennis) and Tina Frey; sisters, Jackie Stewart and Alice Payne; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the funeral home with Brother Bill of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers. Interment in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be today from 4-8 p.m.
