RAY, John Walter Sr., age 78. January 4, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Katie Mai Ray; sister, Barbara Ray; brother, Nelson Eugene Ray; sister, Jewel Ray Wood. Survived by wife, Estelle Ray; sons, John Ray Suzane, Nelson Ray Tama, David Ray Linda; sister, Virginia E. Thompson; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; close family friend Elizabeth "Little Bit". The service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2012 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Roy Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
