John Proctor

PROCTOR, John of Nashville passed away on December 14, 2005. Born April 16, 1947 in Ottumwa, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Juanita Ellsworth Proctor; sister, Sharon Younggren. John is survived by his wife Nancy Atkins Proctor, and son, John Ryan Proctor of Nashville; niece, Beth Glassman, Gainesville, FL; nephew, John Younggren, Los Angeles CA; mother-in-law, Jane Atkins, Nashville; brother-in-law, JohnDana Atkins, Nashville. He also leaves many friends. John was an Eagle Scout and served in the United States Navy. He graduated from the University of Memphis where he was President of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was devoted to his wife and son and was a mentor to many youth ice hockey players in the Nashville area. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held on Saturday January 7, 2006 at 11:30 A.M. at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 1216 Sneed Rd. Franklin, TN.
