John Allen Lyle, Lt. Col., Retired, US Army, 81, born Laurel, MS., died July 20, 2013. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Ann Lyle, daughters Stephanie Borop Niles and Karen Lyle, son John Alan Lyle Cindy, brothers Herbert H. Lyle and Robert K. Lyle, 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and 16 nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation one hour prior to service.
