John Harrison

John Robert Harrison, May 7, 2016 age 94. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Peek Harrison; parents, Joe and Onie Harrison, brother, Will Allan Harrison. Survived by his daughter, Holly (Scott) Nimmo; grandchildren, Joseph and Anna Nimmo; sister-in-law, Anita Peek. A long time resident of the Shackle Island community, he was a home builder and cabinet maker. He also loved gardening and telling jokes. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Monday from 4-8pm. Graveside service will be at 11am Tuesday at Beech Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff and residents at Elmcroft in Hendersonville and his friends at the Long Hollow Jamboree.
