John Deering
February 6, 1943 — October 8, 2007
DEERING, John Arthur 64 of Millersville, TN passed away October 8, 2007. He served as a Marine during the Vietnam War, where he was a POW for over 5 years and was awarded the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Shirley Deering; son, John Deering, Jr.; daughter, Angel Deering. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 pm. Services will be held 9:30 am Thursday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. Interment will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. COLE & GARRETT FUNERAL HOME, Goodlettsville (615) 859-5231
