He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Carter; children, Beverly Harris (Clint), Danny Carter, and Gail Litteral (David); grandchildren, Christi Harris Altstadt, Summer Litteral Ross, Will Litteral, Erica Litteral; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ellie and Emma. Mr. Carter was a founding member of Cornerstone Church in Madison, and was retired from Ford Glass after 31 years. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Sunday from 2-6 pm. Funeral service will be 12 Noon Monday June 26 at Cornerstone Nashville, 726 W. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
