Joel Grice, Jr.

Joel T. "Joey" Grice, Jr., age 42 of Nashville, passed away February 29, 2016. A lifelong resident of Nashville, Joey was born on February 13, 1974 to Joel T. Grice, Sr. and Donna Spencer Jimerson. He is survived by his children, Ian and Alana Grice; and their mother, LeAnn Carr; parents, Donna Jimerson, Brenda and Rick Schneider and Ronald Mayfield; siblings, Tori Jimerson, Autumn Robertson (Andrew), Payton Schneider, Meridee Pelham (Andy), Megan Schneider, Cayla Schneider, Chance Mayfield; and grandmother, Jewel Dean Miles. In a constant quest for knowledge, Joey immersed himself into any activity he chose to pursue, always searching for the most accurate answer. His extreme inquisitiveness and intelligence allowed him to become an expert on every topic in which he was interested, whether that were home improvement, gardening, gourmet cooking, utilizing technology or even gaming. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 4-7 P.M. at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home.
