Joe Matthews

Matthews, Joe Franklin of Gallatin, TN passed away on November 26, 2005 at the age of 59. Mr. Matthews is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Matthews and brothers Van B. Matthews and Henry C. Matthews. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Iris Matthews, his sons, Joe Matthews Kate and Barry J. Gammons, grandson Preston D. Matthews, sister Margaret Jarrell Jimmy, brothers Marshall Matthews Linda, Mack Matthews, Robert Matthews, Charlie Matthews and Doug Matthews Shirley, several nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law James Carter, George Carter and David Carter. Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, November 28, 2005 from 10 AM until 9 PM. Funerals services will be conducted from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 11 AM with Dr. Glenn Weekly and Rev. Roger Luther officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Jarrell, James Carter, Barry Gammons, Brian Wallace, Joe C. Matthews, Ronnie Harris and Roy Durham. Honorary pallbearers are James Floyd and Fount Lackey. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens immediately following the funeral service.
