Joann Myers, a beloved caretaker and cherished family member, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1939 in Casa, Arkansas. Joann dedicated her life to caring for others, often putting their needs before her own. Her sweet nature and beautiful smile illuminated the lives of those around her.
Throughout her life, Joann exemplified a deep love for the Lord, maintaining a close walk and relationship with her faith that served as an inspiration to her family and friends. She was passionate not only about caring for those she served in her role as a caretaker for many families, but also about the spiritual well-being of her loved ones. Joann fervently wished for their salvation and took great joy in sharing her beliefs with them. She was a faithful member of Three Oaks Church in Gallatin. Her brothers and sisters in Christ were very important to her.
Joann's legacy is continued by her devoted son, Ralph Myers; her loving daughter, Annette Myers; her adoring grandson, Jason Myers; her caring brother, James Gilley; and her sister, Barbara Dorris. The warmth and kindness she shared will be deeply missed by her family who carry forward her loving spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. Myers, whose memory she cherished, as well as three sisters and three brothers. The impact of Joann's life is immeasurable, as her devotion to family, faith, and community will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of life will be held at 12pm, Thursday, September 11th in the chapel of Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in White House with burial at Hermitage Memorial Gardens to follow. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm prior to the service.
