Joan Hollis Yorgason, loving mother and friend to many, passed away December 14, 2014, at age 75. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Yorgason; parents, Carl and Gladys Hollis. Survived by her children, Lee Ellen (David) Trenner, Eric (Nicole) Yorgason, Leslie Yorgason (Harry) Romero; grandchildren, Drew Trenner, Nathaniel Romero, Ann-Hali Blewitt, Sam Trenner, Ethan Romero, Annelise Romero, Hollis Yorgason; sisters, Jean (Perry) Burch, Anne Smith; several nieces and nephews. Joan was a long time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Madison where she was the Choir Director for over 30 years and had special music every Sunday. She retired as a nurse from the state of Tennessee. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Friday from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be 11am Saturday December 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Twin Hills Dr., Madison. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
