Jimmy Ray Murrell

Mr. Jimmy Ray Murrell, age 87, of Cottontown, passed away on October 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 15,1935 in Colfax, LA to the late William and Mary Murrell. He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Mrs. Bonnie Parker Murrell; and several siblings.

He is survived by his children, Dale Cates (Mark LeFevre), Loy Murrell, Randy Murrell (Carrie), Marilyn Mollard (Mike), Chet Murrell (Debbie), Mike Murrell, and Ted Murrell (Cleota); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, October 8^th at Jesus Reigns Fellowship. The family invites everyone to lunch at 1pm at the church prior to the service.

Family requests all flower donations be sent to, 1108 Pee Dee Branch, Cottontown, TN 37048 and in lieu of flower donations can be made to Jesus Reigns Fellowship Church in Cottontown.
