STRICKLAND, Jessie L., January 9, 2007, age 89, of Goodlettsville. She was preceded in death by her Husband, J.D. Strickland; parents, Livy and Stella Wimberly; brothers, Colonel and Frank Wimberly; sisters, Ola Oakes, and Norma Ramsey. Survived by her daughters, Betty (David) Tidball, and Barbara (Mark) Rohling; brother, Charles Wimberly, sisters, Wilma Newby, and Ruth Wimberly; grandchildren, Suzanne Tidball, Stephanie Lampkin, Steve Spencer II, Leslie Armstrong, step-grandsons, John and Charles Tidball; great-grandchildren, Andrea, Kody, Brittany, Steve III, and Makayla. Visitation with the family will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 - 8 p.m., Friday from 12 - 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be conducted Saturday January 13, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Jerry Carmichael, officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers: Elders and Deacons of Ivy Point Church of Christ.
