Preceded in death by his parents; Buford & Cornelia Duke and brother; Buford Duke, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 47 years; Jewell Duke, sons; Jeff Kim Duke and Jerry Melinda Duke, sisters; Betty Davenport and Brenda Marmon Carl and grandchildren; Kindall Duke, Paul Duke, Kayla Duke and Kyle Jackson. Visitation will be from 4pm till 8pm, Wednesday, Sept. 6, and 10am till 2pm, Thursday, Sept. 7, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 2pm, Thursday, Sept. 7, at Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Connor and Rev. Herb Wilburn officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Deacons at Holiday Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
