KENNINGTON, J.D. "Red" 93 of Goodlettsville, TN, formerly of Wilsonville, AL, passed away August 13, 2007. He retired from US Steel Rail Transportation in 1973 and was a current member of the Wilsonville Masonic Lodge #510 & had been a Mason since 1954. He was also a member of the Wilsonville Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Agnes Inez Kennington; 3 brothers; 3 sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Betty K. (Robert) Moore; brother, Robert E. Kennington; grandchildren, Robbie (Jamie) Moore & Tiffany Ann Moore; great-grandchild, Robert Jacob "Jake" Moore. Visitation will be 5 to 8pm Tuesday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, TN and 5 to 8pm Thursday at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, AL. Services will be held 11am Friday at Valhalla Funeral Home. Friends & nephews will serve as pallbearers & the Wilsonville Masonic Lodge #510 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
