TYGRET, James Mansfield, Jr. "Jim" – Age 78, Nashville, December 31, 2011. Preceded in death by daughter, Cindy Dawn Tygret. Survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Mary Gates Tygret; daughters, Christy Roberts, Amy Dodson and Sarah Hockaday; sons, James W. Tygret and Stephen Tygret; brother, Lewis Tygret; grandchildren, Jeremy Tygret, Cynthia Hughes, Brandon Tygret, Sandy Clayborne, Stacy Owensby, Aaron Tygret and Ryan Tygret; six great-grandchildren. Jim, a most kind and generous man who never met a stranger and a man who would lend a hand to help anyone in need. He was a US Army Veteran who served in the Korean War and a native of Nashville. He was the owner of the Bellevue Coin Operated Laundry for 18 years. Jim loved life, his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. George's Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Pike. Visitation will be Friday, 12:00 pm until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George's Episcopal Church, Second Harvest Food Bank, American Red Cross or a charity of your choice.
