James William Meadors, Sr., age 71 of Orlinda, passed away February 2, 2021. He was born February 1, 1950 to the late Ross and Lula Meadors. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Reba Recori, Peggy Will, and Florence Riley. He is survived by his wife, Rita Meadors; son JJ Meadors; daughter, Shawnice Arterburn (Ed); grandchildren, Destiny Lula Meadors, Andrew Meadors, Dakotah Castelow, Tristian Castelow, Alex Arterburn, Celeste Arteburn,; mother-in-law, Faye Green; brother, Bud Meadors (Evelyn), and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. James was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a very accomplished electrician. The family will receive friends at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House on Friday February 5, 2021 from 1-3pm. Military honors and a life celebration will be held at 3pm.
