KIMMONS, James E. age 80 passed away on August 24, 2009. He is survived by his wife Vonda Kimmons; children, Joy Kelly Higgins Kimmons, Nina "Lou" Spears; grandchildren Jenny Orten, James Ariana Orten, Zachary, Amy, Sara Spears, Ty Higgins; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, June Hicks; brother, Gary Kimmons. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:30 am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 HWY 100, 615 646-9292.
