Age 88 of Portland. July 20, 2007. Preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Hester; and children, Wilburn Hester, Shirley Harrison, and Michael Hester. Survived by his son, Donnie Hester; five grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, Saturday from 3-8 p.m., Sunday from 12-8 p.m., and where funeral services will be conducted Monday July 23, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Wayne Gilbert, officiating. Interment Jake Link Cemetery.
