James Belew

BELEW, James Edward "Ed" SGM Retired passed away on july 29, 2006. He retired after 47 years with the Tennessee National Guard at the rank of Sergeant Major and 30 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service. He is
survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; sons Mike, Steve, and Andy; grandchildren Alex, Tyler, Ryan, Lauren, Christopher, Hunter, Matt, and Maggie; sister, Helen Birdwell and brother, Jack Belew. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 1, 2006 at 11:30 AM at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with William Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday July 31, 2006 from 4-8 PM. The funeral ceremony will be conducted by the members of the TN Army National Guard.
