ABERNATHY, James Roger, 56, of Hermitage, TN, passed away February 27, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, James & Mary Ruth Abernathy and brother, James Leo Abernathy. He is survived by his brothers, Lee (Missy) & John (Peggy) Abernathy; sisters, Betty Hatcher & Barbara (Greg) Garner; 5 nieces; 4 nephews; 15 great nieces; 6 great nephews; 1 great-great niece; 1 great-great nephew. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8pm. Services will be held 2pm Monday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Applebee & Rev. Jonathan McCaskell officiating.
