Graduated East High School 1952. Served U.S. Navy, Korean War (1952-1954), Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class; Attended Belmont College and University of Tenn. (Nashville). Retired Western Electric Co. (1985) with 30 years; President, CWA Local 10895 (1967-1985); Retired Metro Government (2000) with 16 years; Assistant to Mayors Richard Fulton, Bill Boner, Phil Bredesen; Elected Metro Council (2003-2011) District 10; Elected President ProTem Metro Council (2005); Leadership Nashville Class of 1986; President, Old Timers Baseball Association (2004-2006); State Director Tennessee Dixie Youth Baseball (1971-1997); Coach Goodlettsville Baseball (1998-2003); Coach Parkwood Baseball and Football (1965-1971); Past President, East High Alumni Association; Past President, Parkwood Men's Club; Served on Board of MDHA, (1980-1985); Served on Board of Nashville Sports Authority, (2014-2020): Served on Board of Leadership Goodlettsville, (2015-2018); Member Impact Fellowship Baptist Church.

Visitation Wednesday from 1 pm until 7pm and Thursday from 10:30 am until 11:30 am.
Interment with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
