Henry Masten

HENRY MATHIAS MASTEN age 86 of Hendersonville. Born January 2, 1924 to John H and Ola K. Masten, passed Tuesday July 20, 2010. He was a member of the Augsburg Lutheran Church, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a retiree from Goodwill Industries. He was preceded in death by his wife; Martha W. Masten, parents, brothers; John E. Jones and Robert William Brick
Masten and grandson in law Frank Isbell. Survived b y his daughter and son in law; Linda and Donnie Scott of Hendersonville, Tn., brothers; F. David Masten of Kernersville, N.C. and Richard K. Masten of Advance, N.C., granddaughters; Kelly Tommy Shatswell of Bethpage, Tn. and Tracy Isbell of Mt. Juliet, Tn. grandson; Mitchell Karren Scott of Goodlettsville Tn. 11 great grandchildren and 7 great -great grandchildren also survive. His family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until service time at 2 P.M. on Thursday July 22 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Chaplain Mark Russell.
Following the service he will be conveyed to Hayworth – Miller Funeral Home in Winston-Salem, N.C. where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. on Saturday July 24, 2010.
