Genevieve Williams

Genevieve "Gen" Williams, age 92, died on May 14, 2016. She was the daughter of the late William Austin and Mabel Peterson Austin of Austin, Minnesota. She was predeceased by her sister and brother, Norma Barneck and Wilvin Austin, and husbands Todd Francis, Leonard Williams, and William Rodewald. She is survived by children Linda Van Langen and Mark Rodewald of Cottontown, TN, brother Noel Austin of Colorado Springs, CO, and sister Margaret Maso of Arnold, MO, and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A member of First Presbyterian Church, Hendersonville, TN, and was a past president and life member of Nashville Women's Golf Association and the Ladies Golf Association of Bluegrass Country Club.
She had previously been employed at Sumner Regional Hospital as Director of Volunteers and Public Relations, and activated the Patient Representative Program.

Gen chose cremation and at her request there will be no services. Condolences may be sent to her son and daughter at 4442 Hwy 31 W, Cottontown, TN 37048.
