Geneva Gibson

Geneva Belle Gibson, age 93 of White House, passed away December 28, 2020. She was born in Swannanoa, North Carolina on July 9, 1927 to the late Wade Hampton Brown and Sue Eva Peek Brown. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Gibson, daughter Carolyn Sue Elmore, grandson Joshua Sean Gibson, and great-grandson Ryan Kurt Troyer. She is survived by her children, Sheila (Mark) VanMeter, Glenda (Fran) Keefe, Greg Gibson, and Paula (Doug Depies) Gibson; brother George Brown; sister, Anita Isbell; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House, TN on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 3-7pm. Masks are required and no food nor drink will be allowed. Funeral Mass will be at 11am on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville. The Rosary will be recited just prior to the Mass at 10:30a.m. There will be a live stream available of the Funeral Mass to begin approximately at 10:30am or shortly thereafter (pre-Mass video of Mrs. Gibson) at https://ololcconline.com/live-mass/ . Interment will follow at White House Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association www.heart.org
