Fred Pickney, Jr.

PICKNEY, Fred Christian, Jr. - Age 92 of Nashville. Mr. Pickney was a member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and a veterans of WW II where he was in the 1st Battalion 509 Parachute Infantry Regiment. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred C. Pickney, Sr. Sarah; brothers, Frank, Walter, Charles and John; sisters, Mary Cauthen and Dorothy Bornmann. Survived by his loving wife, Patsy Pickney; Brothers, Paul A. Pickney Eunice and Victor W. Pickney Evelyn; sisters, Valeria Ambuehl, Edna Wolfe Buster, and Alice Pickney; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
