Fred Bilyeu

BILYEU, Fred Glen age 79 passed away on February 22, 2010. Mr. Bilyeu was a standout football star at the University of Georgia from 1951-53 where he was a member of the University Hall of Fame. He then went on to play one year in the NFL for the New York Giants in 1955. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Jo Bilyeu Pratt. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Bilyeu; children, Victoria Bilyeu, Terri David Nelson, Beth Bilyeu; grandchildren, Bryan Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Micah Pratt, Mitchell Pratt. Funeral services will be on Wednesday February 24, 2010 at 1 pm at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 12-1 pm at the church. HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 HWY 100, 646-9292
