Frances Josephine "Jo" Frost, 90, of Goodlettsville passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Born Dec. 7, 1929 in Jackson, TN she was the daughter of the late Fountain P. Randolph and Alice (Kellogg) Randolph. Jo was also preceded in death by her husband Miles C. "Coach" Frost, and her siblings Nancy Randolph, James Randolph and Mary Emory. Jo had been a clerical worker in the insurance industry and had previously worked as a nurses' assistant for Dr. James Hastie. Raised a Baptist in her youth, Jo attended the Methodist church with her family, most recently at Connell Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a loving, devoted and proud wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served as president of the Goodlettsville Elementary School PTA when her children were young and later became a staunch supporter of the Goodlettsville High School Trojans. Jo was a very "vocal" supporter of her children during their sports endeavors in high school as well. She was an artist and quilter and perhaps best known by those she loved as a great cook. Her homemade cinnamon rolls were something her family enjoyed every Christmas as part of the family holiday traditions. Always active and involved in her community, Jo had been a member of the first Goodlettsville Parks Board. She is survived by her children, Miles R. Frost and his wife Alice, Sissy Thomas and her husband Jim, Beth Frost, and Robin Frost and his wife Tammy; her grandchildren, Cody Frost and his wife Kacey, Jamie Biggs, Ashley Bogle and her husband Adam, and Alissa Dickerson and her husband Stetson; her great-grandchildren Josey, Abram, Lorelei, Scarlet, Atticus, and Olive; and her brother Edwin Randolph. A private family graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
