Frances Brent

Frances Caroline Carpenter Brent, age 82 of Goodlettsville, went home to be with the Lord July 7, 2020. She was born in Goodlettsville, TN on June 27, 1938 to the late Charles Hugo Cornelius Carpenter, Sr., and Ethel Dorothy Powers Carpenter. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brent, son Timothy Gibbs, and his daughter Micha Danielle Gibbs; daughter-in-law Lisa Gibbs; granddaughter Laurel Tompkins, and step daughter, Nita Warm (Gene). She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Gibbs Sanders (Gary), and her son William Mark Gibbs (Brenda), and brother Claude Houston Carpenter (Martha); grandchildren, Shannon Baskin (Matt), Shanda Hayes (Matt), Jana Lowe (Matt), Megan Dadej (Jarek), Jennifer Agema (Troy), Karith Gingrow (Billy), Faith Mayfield, Heather Dec (Colby)and 14 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be at 2pm Saturday July 11, 2020 at Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene, 400 Loretta Drive, Goodlettsville, with visitation from 1pm until service time. Private interment will be on Monday at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice or American Cancer Society.
