Mrs. Eugenia Rose Almond Anthony, age 88, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on October 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 18, 1930 in Nashville, TN to the late Homer and Lillian Almond.
Eugenia had a kind and beautiful soul. Her family describes her as sweet, a little stubborn, but a good sense of humor. She was born in Nashville and attended East Nashville High School and graduated in 1948. She married the love of her life, Mr. Kenneth Anthony, at the age of 18 on March 4, 1949 and they were married for 69 years. Together, they loved to travel. They traveled coast to coast together. They moved to Goodlettsville together in 1967. Her favorite time of the year was Halloween. She was a member of Connell Methodist Church for many years.
Eugenia is survived by her husband, Kenneth Anthony; children, Kenneth D. Anthony (Barbara), Rosemarie Allen (Mike), and Brian Anthony (Rebecca); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Hogan.
A life celebration will be held, 10am, Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the chapel of Cole and Garrett in Goodlettsville with burial at Spring Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5-8pm.
