Ernestine Dorton

DORTON, Ernestine W. age 86 of White House was Promoted to Glory on January 10, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil J. Dorton; daughters, Frances M. Gaff, and Glenda S. Brown; infant son, Carl Anthony Dorton; brother, Leonard Trent. Survived by her children, Sharon (Bob) Bane, James A. (Laura) Dorton, Sr., Patricia (Bob) Davis, Cecilia D. (Roger) Senn, Bernice Collier, Cynthia J. (Richard) Roberts, Kenneth R. (Vicki) Dorton, Christina (Jeff) Hanton; sister, Theresa Hamilton; sons-in-law, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family. Ernestine was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a long time member of The Salvation Army, American Legion Auxiliary, Creative Homemakers, and an avid fan of the White House Blue Devils. A memorial service will be 2 pm Sunday January 13 at White House General Baptist Church, 4012 Highway 31 W. White House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the charity of one's choice. Love ya, love ya, love ya!
