Preceded in death by husbands, Chester Ray Whitley and Will Parker and 7 grandchildren. Survived by son, Don Whitley Shirley, daughter, Joyce Whitley Duke Carroll, sons, Marshall Parker Nevon, Calvin Parker Gwen, and daughters, Terri Parker Martin Donal, Rena Hunt Smith, and Billie Parker Dickinson, 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Whitley was saved in 1916 at the age of 13 and was a longtime and devoted member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church in Madison, TN. Pallbearers: Pat Schmidt, devoted friend and caregiver who visited her weekly, Jim Barlow, Tom Howard, Kenny Loftis, Bob McCain, Bill Thompson, and Jack Whitley. Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. James Bomboy, Brice Oldham, John Covington, Wilson Dillard, David Garrett, Ken Haslip, Jimmy Hill, Doc Perrigo, Wayne Scott Hugh Shoulders, Joe Whitley, and J. B. Andrews. In-Home Caregivers, Christy Gourley, Shirley Hopper, and Dannette Henley. Visitation on _Friday, December 16th, 2-8 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Memorial Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN. and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral service will be at McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church, Madison, TN on _Saturday 11 a.m. with Bros. Johnny Carver and Kenneth Massey officiating. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
