Prentiss, Elizabeth Mackey, 92, Passed away February 25, 2006. Born in Franklin, TN in 1914. Grew up in West Nashville. Went to Richland Grade School, Central High School and Nashville Business College. Worked for WSM and the Federal Gov. Alcohol Tax Unit in Knoxville, TN. She Married Paul T.K. Prentiss in 1943 in Newport News, VA. She was a member of Christ Church Cathedral and volunteered with Church work. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul T.K. Prentiss. Survived by children, Paul T.K. Prentiss Jr., Huntsville, Alabama; Sarah Prentiss William Buchanan, Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Margaret Keith Buchanan, Atlanta, Ga.; Tyler Keith Prentiss, Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Robert Norma Mackey, many other loving family. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with The Reverend Geoffrey Butcher officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Lukes Community House, 5601 New York Ave. Nashville, TN 37209.
