Duke, Effie Stephens, 86, February 4, 2007. Preceded in death by son, Joe Stephens. Survived by husband, Cecil Duke; daughters, Stella James Cox, Laverne James Knihtila, Barbara Hickam; grandchildren, Gary Stephens, James E. Cox Jr., Sheryl Davenport, Victor Knihtila, Daryl Hickam; 7 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Mitch Martin and Pat Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME 6962 Charlotte Pike 352-9400
