Dorothy Watson

DOROTHY JEAN WHITE WATSON, age 79 of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday March 4, 2010. Mrs. Watson was the former cafeteria manager at Hendersonville High School, as well as an avid fisherwoman, gardner and music lover. She never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Freeman Watson and her parents, Girdo and Mabel White. She is survived b y her sons, Johnny Kathy Watson, David Debbie Watson, Stacy Beth Watson and Micheal Watson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. on Monday, March 8, 2010 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Dale Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. on Sunday March 7 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
