Donald Pestell

PESTELL, Donald Huie- Age 82 years, passed from this life on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Pestell was a veteran of the US Marines; A member of the Doric Lodge No. 732, and also a member of St. John's Church, in Old Hickory, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Raymond & Elva Pestell; sister, Dorothy Latimer; his grandson, Marcus Ray Pestell. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Thelma Jackson Pestell; children, Raymond Huie Pestell; Donna Pestell, and Richard Pestell; grandchildren, Carrie Baldwin, Joshua Pestell, and Andrew Pestell; numerous great grandchildren; and his niece, Roblin Latimer. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 2pm, from the Middle TN Veteran's Cemetery. The family will gather on Thursday for a Life Celebration Visitation from 12:30pm -1:30pm at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME.
