Donald Lee Lanius, age 73 of Goodlettsville, passed away September 5, 2020. He was born to the late Fred and Violet Lanius in Nashville, TN on April 24, 1947. He was also preceded in death by his brother Dale Lanius. He is survived by his children, Brent (Kimberly) Lanius, Brian (Emily) Lanius, and Jamie Lee (Daniel) Tinnon; his beloved grandchildren who he adored, Caleb, MJ, Barrett, and Mazie; brothers, Fred (Pat) Lanius, Gene (Sheila) Lanius, Arnold (Pallie) Lanius, Ricky (Nan) Lanius; sisters, Billie Jean Walker, Judy (Ralph) Lee, Tonya Skelton, and April (Steve) Williams. Donald was retired from the Goodlettsville Fire Department, and was a veteran of the US Army. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Goodlettsville Wednesday September 9 from 2-8 pm, and Thursday September 10 from 12 noon until service at 2pm with military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Lanius, Richard Lanius, Steve Lanius, Jeff Miller, Hunter Skelton, Chase Skelton, Tim Lanius, Nolan Lanius, Kevin Wilson, and Scott Lanius.
