ARMSTRONG, Sr., Dewey Thurman, of Nashville, TN dies at the age of 86 on January 27, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Ben & Jessie Armstrong; brothers, Bud & Bill Armstrong; sisters, Evelyn Deweese & Doris Murphy. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Virginia Suter Armstrong; daughter, Jan Burgress; sons, Randy (Diana) & Dewey (Amy) Armstrong, Jr.; sisters Barbara Burchardt & Sandra Ferguson; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retiree from the Ford Glass Plant. Visitation will be 2 to 8pm Thursday. Services will be held 11am Friday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home with Bro. Andre Dugger officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. COLE & GARRETT FUNERAL HOME, Goodlettsville (615)859-5231
