Delores Rayburn, 62, of White House, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born July 6, 1962, in Cherry Point, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Carlos E. Broadway and Emma Frances Smith Broadway.
Delores was a gifted seamstress, known for her beautifully crafted creations that brought joy to those who wore them. Her quick wit and candid nature made her a cherished companion among family and friends. Delores had an extraordinary ability to express her thoughts openly, a trait that endeared her to those around her. Whether engaging in heartfelt conversations or sharing a light-hearted joke, she made an indelible mark on the hearts of her loved ones.
In addition to her seamstress skills, Delores found joy in shopping and cooking, showing her creative flair in every aspect of her life. From preparing delicious meals to curating stylish outfits, her passions illustrated her zest for life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Ricky Broadway.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Drew Rayburn and Meredith (Christopher Ryan) Stout, who carry forward her spirit and memories.
A visitation will be held on December 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House, Tennessee. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life officiated by Pastor Jonathan Denton will commence at 12:00 PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together and honor Delores's legacy. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee.
Delores Rayburn’s life was a tapestry woven with love, creativity, and honest expression. Her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know her.
