David O'Connell

O'CONNELL, David Douglas "Doug"Of Nashville, aged 88, died Sunday, August 30, 2009. A volunteer in World War II, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the China-Burma-India Theater. In later years, he pursued a career in Sales Management with National Life and Accident Insurance Co. Preceded in death by his wife, Dottie McAnnally O'Connell; parents, Wiyley D. O'Connell and Mary Cuffman O'Connell; sister, Rebecca Brown; brothers, Wiyley E. and George H. O'Connell. He is survived by daughters, Deborah Outlaw of Saint Cloud, FL and Rachel Hallums of Lebanon, TN; sister, Margaret Waggoner of Goodlettsville; grandchildren, Michael Brandon Outlaw, Slade Douglas Outlaw, David Kemper, Sam Jones; close friend, Wayburn Crabtree of Nashville.
