David Allen Cantrell, 62, of Nashville passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. Born in Nashville on October 31, 1958, he was the son of the late Charles Thomas Cantrell and Mildred Irene Sanders Cantrell. David spent his entire career in logistics. He had worked for Red Arrow Delivery Service which was owned and operated by his late father and stayed with the company after its' acquisition. Among his interests and pass-times; David loved fishing, was an avid Predators and Titans fan, and enjoyed Nascar. He loved telling stories often in an animated fashion. David is survived by his twin brother, Donald R (Debra) Cantrell; their children (his nieces and nephews) Jason (Jessi) Cantrell, Travis Briley, Matthew (Alicia) Cantrell, Tracy Briley, Jeremy (Rachel) Cantrell, Stacy Riggs, Tim Cantrell; as well as 10 great-nieces and nephews. Visitation for David will be held Wednesday, April 14th from 4 until 7 pm and Thursday, April 15th from 12 noon until 2 pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. A Life Celebration Service for David will be held Thursday at 2 pm at the funeral home, followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
