Danny Russell Davenport- Age 72, born August 31, 1942, passed from this life on February 4, 2014, at Baptist Hospital after an extended illness. Survived by wife, Joy Newby Davenport; daughter, Judy Lynn Davenport; sister, Betty (Ron) Bull; and many nieces and nephews. Danny was a 40 year automobile mechanic at Hippodrome Oldsmobile. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the American Diabetic Association in Danny's name. The family will have time of visitation on Saturday, February 15th from 10am-6pm.
