Dan H. Klitz

Dan H. Klitz, 64, of Cross Plains, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.  Born May 6, 1959, in DeQueen, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Freddie Klitz and Martha Mae Escue Klitz.

Dan’s family and friends will remember him as a kind, sweet, loving man who loved fishing and animals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kim Rennee Barry Klitz; brothers Tom and Marshal.

He is survived by his children Danyeail Smith, Joseph “Bubba” Klitz, and Brandon Klitz; stepchildren Amanda (Anthony) Matushin and Jesse (Adrien) Barry; Ashley (David) Alfred who was like a daughter to him; brothers Leon and Gerald; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; close friends and caretakers Jim and Danyelle Fisher; and his fur kids Peanut and Jelly.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, April 6, from 2pm until 5 pm at 8544 Village Green Drive in Cross Plains.
