Damian Wayne Drury, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 29. Born on July 28, 1996, in Nashville, TN, Damian was a vibrant presence in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He embraced life with an open heart, defined by his loving, easy-going, and outgoing nature. Known for his ability to make friends wherever he went, Damian truly never met a stranger.

A dedicated professional, Damian spent his career in construction, where he operated heavy equipment with skill and confidence. His work ethic reflected not only his professional dedication but also his desire to contribute positively to the world around him.

Outside of work, Damian cherished riding his motorcycle. On any beautiful day, you could find him outside, enjoying the freedom that came with each ride. This passion for adventure mirrored his approach to life, always seeking new experiences and embracing the beauty of the outdoors.

Damian is survived by his father, Charles (Kerry) Drury; mother, Sherry Ledbetter; and siblings, Angel and Destiny. He also leaves behind cherished grandparents, Charles and Jo Ann Drury, Sheila Carney and grandfather, Tony Towns, uncle, Joe Drury; as well as his beloved nephews, Kamdyn and James, and niece, Oaklynn. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members who were touched by his warmth and kindness.

As we reflect on Damian's life, we remember a man whose spirit was as free as the wind on a open road. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
