Cora Denton

DENTON, Cora B. age 92 of Hendersonville, July 11, 2009. She was born in Portland, Tennessee to the late Virgil and Clara Barnard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. "Bill" Denton Sr.; and step-son, John M. "Billy" Denton Jr. She is survived by her son, Jerry L. Denton Lynn of Hendersonville; step-daughter, Jean McElroy Bill of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jay Coles, Julie Coles Stewart both of South Carolina, Jason Denton, Carrie Denton both of Nashville; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Bill Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Mt.
