Cheryl Hood Zeligman, 64 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Hendersonville Medical Center. Born October 30, 1957 Cheryl was raised and educated in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn Hood. Cheryl loved being with her family and friends. She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grand-mother and sister. She was a selfless individual who was always putting others first. For many years, Cheryl had worked for K Mart. Among her interests other than family, she loved to collect wind chimes. She also loved her gambling trips often to Tunica, MS or the occasional flight to Las Vegas. Cheryl also loved a good auction and her little auction family. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Randy Zeligman; her mother Hazel Hood; her brother, Rick Hood (Pam); her children, Chris Hood (Amber) and their children, Morgan and Mason; Diane Armstrong (Andrew) and their children, Lana, Lillian and Alexander “Lex”, and Michelle Koch (Brian) and their children, Alexandra and Kayden. A gathering to celebrate Cheryl’s life will be held in the reception hall  (lower level) at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, TN on Thursday, June 16th from 2 to 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association
