BOONE, Cecil, age 72, Kingston Springs, February 14, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Effie Boone. Survived by his wife of 22 years, Syble Boone; daughters, Shawana Boone and Mary Beal; sons, Douglas and Mark Boone; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; step-children, Sara Blair , Freddy and Walter Powell; ten grandchildren; brother, Johnny Boone; sisters, Martha Archie, Betty Wheeler and Virginia Sullivan. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment at Lampley Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday, 4-8 pm at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME 9090 Hwy 100, 615 646-9292.
